James McCann attualmente vive a Warwick con sua moglie, suo figlio e un pantalone bianco amante del fango in cerca di uno spaniel chiamato Maggie (o Maggie NO! come viene spesso chiamata).
In precedenza aveva goduto delle numerose esperienze offerte crescendo e poi dirigendo vari pub ai quattro angoli di Londra. James ha quindi intrapreso una carriera nella vendita al dettaglio di moda che alla fine ha portato all'opportunità di riqualificarsi per il suo attuale ruolo di contabile.
Scrivere non era qualcosa che aveva considerato di fare fino a quando non ha iniziato a inventare canzoni per e su suo figlio, portando infine a rime su qualsiasi personaggio e storia gli venisse in mente (di solito mentre era in fuga senza accesso a carta e penna).

It chronicles the lies and pain, the emotional turmoil of endings, the transformative experiences, and the seemingly insignificant details—all meticulously recorded through successive relationships. Are relationships easy? No. Would I want them to be? Absolutely not. For in those challenges lie the stories worth telling. The end of a relationship strikes with the chilling force of winter. We become desolate, stripped bare, with nothing left to give. We wait in the silence, which itself can be deafening.
