Jennifer L Rothwell

Fantasy / YA Fantasy Author

Jennifer L. Rothwell always wanted to call herself an author.
She dreamt of saying it one day, back when she was scribbling stories in her endless piles of notebooks and back when she would sneakily read whatever novel she was immersed in by hiding it inside the dust jacket of To Kill A Mockingbird at school.
(Don't worry, she'd already read it. To Kill A Mockingbird remains one of her favourite novels.)
She is also a teacher, a coffee drinker, a cat enthusiast, a keen foodie and most importantly, a mother to Sebastian.
Jennifer writes Young Adult fantasy because she never really grew up and she still can't believe that she's an adult. But at least now she can call herself an author.

Reviews

A Spark of Fire

I've bought two paperbacks as Christmas presents for young teenagers. I've just finished my Kindle version. I enjoyed the story very much. Not too dark like some famous magic stories either. I tried taking my time to read it slowly and enjoy it but still ended up reading it into the early hours to finish it !
Please follow up with book 2 soon.
